Shirin Towfigh, MD

Shirin Towfigh, MD, is an associate professor of surgery and a faculty surgeon in the division of general surgery and the Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She is a nationally recognized leader in hernia surgery, including advanced laparoscopic surgery and complex hernia repair, and serves on the board of directors of the American Hernia Society and the editorial board of the journal Hernia.
