Tim Reinhold, PhD, chief engineer and senior vice president of research for Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety, a nonprofit research and advocacy organization supported by the property insurance industry, based in Richburg, South Carolina. He previously was a professor of civil engineering at Clemson University and a consulting engineer for the National Institute for Standards and Technology.
