Stanley Mirsky, MD, associate clinical professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and founder of the Stanley Mirsky MD Diabetes Education Unit at the Mount Sinai Metabolism Institute, both in New York City. He is a past president of the American Diabetes Association of New York State and was Mount Sinai’s Endocrinologist of the Year for 2005. Dr. Mirsky is coauthor, with Joan Rattner Heilman, of Diabetes Survival Guide (Ballantine).
