Orlando Gutiérrez, MD, an associate professor of medicine in the division of nephrology and assistant professor of epidemiology at The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He is also the chair of the Medical Affairs Committee for the American Kidney Fund, KidneyFund.org, and has authored or coauthored more than 65 scientific papers that have been published in leading medical journals.
