David Hoffmann, BSc, is a founding member and past president of the American Herbalists Guild, an advisory board member of the American Botanical Council and a fellow of Great Britain’s National Institute of Medical Herbalists. He teaches at the California School of Herbal Studies in Forestville, is a visiting faculty member at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington, and is the author of 17 books, including Herbal Prescriptions after 50.
