Tactile Systems Technology, Inc. (TCMD) makes medical devices for underserved chronic diseases, focusing on lymphedema and bronchiectasis. Each disease has a $5 billion market, giving TCMD room to grow. Its Nimbl compression platform for upper-­extremity lymphedema launched for lower-extremity use as well. Sheri Dodd, CEO since July 2024, has Medtronic and Johnson & Johnson experience. TCMD is building its sales force while developing products.

Energizer Holdings, Inc. (ENR) produces batteries and lighting products under well-known brands Energizer, Eveready and Rayovac batteries…and Hard Case and WeatherReady flashlights. It makes auto-appearance products including Armor All and Nu Finish and STP-brand fuel and oil additives. The company entered the auto segment just before COVID caused a big downturn, which now has ended. It is using high cash flow to pay down debt and support its substantial dividend.

It is leveraging its expertise in cloud infrastructure and data management to gain market share in AI. Oracle has a recurring-­revenue model that gives it stability as it moves into AI. It licenses the Oracle and MySQL databases, the Java programming language, cloud-based storage and networking, blockchain support and more. It is well-positioned for handling expected vast growth of data-storage and processing needs.

Ferrari N.V. (RACE) makes supercars, but its products are more like art or jewelry with very limited supply—targeting the richest customers worldwide. Demand vastly exceeds supply. When Ferrari recently announced plans for 799 new F80 vehicles at $3.9 million each, they sold out in 48 hours—despite delivery being a year away. Ferrari sells 14,000 vehicles a year, the least costly in the $250,000 range. It has a remarkable 38% profit margin…the auto-industry average is about 7%.
