Twyla Tharp

Twyla Tharp, who has choreographed five feature films and more than 125 dances, directed and choreographed two Broadway shows — Singin’ in the Rain and Movin’ Out — and received one Tony Award, two Emmy Awards, 17 honorary doctorates and the MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship. She is author of an autobiography, Push Comes to Shove (Bantam), and The Creative Habit: Learn It and Use It for Life (Simon & Schuster).
