Stuart Brown, MD

Stuart Brown, MD, a psychiatrist and founder of the National Institute for Play, a Carmel Valley, California–based nonprofit dedicated to expanding the clinical scientific knowledge around the benefits of play. He is an adjunct professor in the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University in California and was the founding clinical director and chief of psychiatry at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in San Diego.
