Sherwin B. Nuland, MD

Sherwin B. Nuland, MD, clinical professor of surgery, Yale School of Medicine, fellow, Yale Institution for Social and Policy Studies, and founding member of the Bioethics Committee, Yale New Haven Hospital, all in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Nuland also is a fellow and board member of the Hastings Center, an independent bioethics research institution, and author of eight books, including the National Book Award winner How We Die: Reflections on Life’s Final Chapter (Vintage).
