Masao Suzuki, LAc, PhD, is an associate professor in the department of clinical acupuncture and moxibustion at Meiji University of Integrative Medicine and the department of respiratory medicine at the Graduate School of Medicine at Kyoto University, both in Kyoto, Japan, as well as lead author of a study on acupuncture and COPD published in Archives of Internal Medicine.
