Shobha Krishnan, MD, board-certified family physician and gynecologist, founder and president of Global Initiative Against HPV and Cervical Cancer, vice-chair of the HPV and Cervical Cancer Elimination Advocacy Committee of the Medical Women’s International Association. She is also on the board of the American Medical Women’s Association and is author of The HPV Vaccine Controversy: Sex, Cancer, God, and Politics.
