Jeffrey Hancock, PhD, associate professor in Cornell University’s department of communications. He recently worked with graduate students Myle Ott and Yejin Choi and professor Claire Cardie, PhD, to analyze online hotel reviews and develop a software program that can identify deceptive reviews with about 90% accuracy.
