Dennis J. Ernst, MT is a phlebotomy educator and founding director of the Center for Phlebotomy Education, Inc., in Cheboygan, Michigan, Phlebotomy.com. A medical technologist certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology he is the author of five books including The Lab Draw Answer Book. He is a member of the board of the Clinical & Laboratory Standards Institute, where he helps develop and maintain standards for drawing blood.
