Cara Tannenbaum, MD, professor in the faculties of medicine and pharmacy at Université de Montréal and the Michel Saucier Endowed Chair in Geriatric Pharmacology, Health and Aging at Centre de Recherche de l’Institut Universitaire de Gériatrie de Montréal, both in Canada. She is director of the Canadian Deprescribing Network and codeveloper of its website Deprescribing Network.ca, which provides information to seniors and health-care providers about reducing/eliminating drug prescriptions to minimize side ­effects and improve health.
