Connie Weaver, PhD

Connie Weaver, PhD, distinguished professor and head of the department of nutrition science at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She is an expert on mineral bioavailability, calcium metabolism and bone health. She is the author or editor of four books, including Nutritional Influences on Bone Health, and a member of the National Academy of Science’s Institute of Medicine.
