Patrick C.J. Ward, MD, professor emeritus of biomedical sciences and former chair of the department of anatomy, microbiology and pathology at University of Minnesota Medical School in Duluth. Dr. Ward’s research interests have included clinical laboratory testing and diagnostic hematopathology. He is currently writing an encyclopedia about diseases affecting the blood.
