Amitava Banerjee, MPH, MRCP (Member of the Royal College of Physicians), DPhil, is a cardiologist, researcher and clinical lecturer of cardiovascular medicine at the University of Birmingham in the UK. He is the lead author of a study on cardiovascular risk, conducted while he was a clinical research fellow at the Stroke Prevention Research Unit at the University of Oxford in the UK.
