Don’t you just hate it when you get out of the pool and your blonde hair has a greenish tinge? Take a clean sponge, dip it in red wine and dab it on your hair. Let it sit for a few minutes. The chemicals in a chlorinated pool will be neutralized by the tannic acid in the wine. And since you’re just dabbing your hair with the wine (rather than soaking it), you won’t change from a blonde to a temporary redhead. Rinse thoroughly with clear, warm water. Or, if you have more aspirin around than wine, dissolve six aspirin tablets in a pint of warm water…massage the aspirin-water mixture into your wet hair for a few minutes…and the green will disappear. Rinse thoroughly with clear water.
