Snow can be such a hassle…especially if your car gets stuck in it. Here’s what to do…

Carry around four strips of old carpet, measuring about one foot by four feet. If you get your car stuck in the snow, take the strips out of your trunk and place a strip under each tire for traction.

What? You forgot to put carpet strips in your trunk? You can use the floor mats from inside the car, and put them under your tires to provide traction. Or keep a bag of clay kitty litter in your trunk—putting some under the tires will provide traction in the snow.
